District 10: Buffalo-Niagara

Attention District 10 current and potential members!  We do not have any "official District activities" planned just yet, but I am happy to report that our future plans include trying to get some activities going in the Buffalo-Niagara area to bring our membership together and start getting involved!

We will also be trying to get the word out to our local piano teachers about making our District active, so please start spreading the word to potential members about joining.

In the meantime, I am looking for ideas for the types of activities that would benefit you as a piano teacher and our District as a whole.  Among possible activities include:

-Recital opportunities (either an "honors" recital or an "open to all" recital performance in our District)

-Teacher workshops/professional development opportunities

-Concert field trips (professional concerts, college performances, etc.), taking advantage of the wealth of opportunities in Buffalo, or free concerts at SUNY-Fredonia, UB, Buffalo State, etc.)

Please send ideas/input to me at lagr2149@fredonia.edu!
